Terms of service

1. Using the Service

You may use the Service to view, edit, convert, sign and analyse documents you own or are allowed to process. Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or documents you have no right to change, and do not use the Service to remove protection or watermarks from documents that are not yours.

2. Accounts

Keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from the account page; this deletes your data as described in the privacy notice.

3. Plans and payment

Paid plans are prepaid for one month or one year and do not renew automatically. Prices include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout. No GST is charged while AiResovia is not registered for GST. Refunds follow the refund and cancellation policy. Fair-use limits shown on the pricing page apply. During the free beta no payment is taken and limits may change. If the Service is unavailable for a significant part of a paid period because of our fault, contact us for a pro-rata credit.

4. Your documents

You keep all rights to your documents. Files processed by tools are deleted automatically within 30 minutes. Documents sent for signature are stored encrypted until you delete them. AI features send the document to our AI provider only to produce the result you asked for.

5. AI results

AI summaries, translations, comparisons and extracted data can contain mistakes. Check important results before relying on them.

6. Electronic signatures

Signature requests create electronic signatures with an audit trail. You are responsible for choosing a signing method that is valid for your document and jurisdiction. Some documents legally require a certificate-based digital signature or a handwritten signature.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the Service available and secure but provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Open source

The Service uses open-source software, including MuPDF under the GNU AGPL. Where the footer shows a "Source code" link, the corresponding source code of the Service is available there under the same licence.
